Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

The Future of Telecom
Monday, February 01, 2010
An iphone is a phone, TV and internet connected computer is it not? You can hook that up to a projector and speakers can't you? And a keyboard?
I think all computing and telecom will be unified in whatever physical manifestation that suits us. And that's it.
The future of BT lies in our wallet. As a non supporter of BT when the vote was taken, just thought the city was having enough problems operating why take on new ones. Others disagreed and we now have BT, and I am now a customer of BT. We all make mistakes. The service I have experienced has been as good as any in this service challenged world. The rates are good, and unfortunately we now know why the rates are good, because we as taxpayers now will have to foot the bill for BT because of the sneaky, confusing, misleading, actions of CAO Leopold. So bottom line is if BT is too survive rates must go up, more subscribers are needed, which with climbing rates will be a severe impossible challenge. Bottom line #2 is we are screwed either way and the only way to continue forward toward any decision is without the involvement of CAO Leopold. He has got us into enough trouble and we must move forward without his involvement.
Yeah. I don't know. I'm a BT customer too. I was really excited about it two years ago, but now I couldn't care less. I just dropped my landline, because like almost everybody I have a cell. I cut my channels down to basic, which I thought would just be 18.60, but I just got my bill and found that I forgot about the $5.00 I pay for having an extra box so that's 23.60, plus another 5.00 in taxes and fees, so now I'm up to almost 30.00 a month just to watch some basic channels, many of which I should be able to get through the air free.
I might take me a trip to radio shack this weekend nsee if I can't get some rabbit ears.
That would leave me only internet. Which makes sense when you think about it. Phone and TV functions can both be performed via the internet. They are rapidly becoming more and more superfluous.
Even Bob Kiss made inference to the fact that landline phone and TV were "luxuries" when he singled out only one of BT's 3 three services- internet- to declare as "not a luxury."
Anyone who grew up in the depression will tell you, cable TV is a luxury. And it's too darn expensive.
To think BT is going to have the ability to perform the R&D needed to stay ahead of the technology curve is laughable.
They are a dead duck. It is not the correct or proper function of city government to perform these Taskes. I am convinced now. It distracts city leaders from more important priorities and it puts the taxpayers at an undue risk. 100 millions dollars. Please. The city council was absolutely correct in saying no to that.
You know, if enought BT customers seek to lower what they puchase like me, that should do 'er right there. Save the city council the trouble.
Haik - so by now almost everyone can see or at least begin to understand that BT is not economically feasible. Also clear is that Kiss and Leopold did in fact hide the salami on the public.
In your opinion is there any chance that he would have been re-elected had more facts been out in the open?
Do you think Kiss and Leopold are sticking together to avoid mutual assured destruction?
We have somewhat of an idea what the actions of Kiss and Leopold involving BT will have on us. None of the expected results are good at least in my opinion, but a short time will tell, as cash dollars are at stake for taxpayers BT, etc. Let us hope this is the only situation that the CAO and Mayor have perfectly screwed up, if not we are sunk. A complete 100% audit of all money passing through the hands of these two over the past four years, is demanded at least by me. Get on board and urge your councilors to push for this. It is needed
