Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Sunny Saturday
Saturday, January 23, 2010
1:58pm-The stars have alligned. My wife is at work. My mother-in-law has the kids, and I don't have to work today. I have the house to myself for the next three hours. It's incredible.
Obviously I have to spend most of that time cleaning. This place is a mess. But look- I'm doing a blog post too. Yay.
I'll update a few times while I'm cleaning.
2:00pm- Yeah, so...
*IRV. Huh. Word on the street is the Dems may, in general, vote to keep IRV. I'm not. I guess we'll see.
*BT. Yeah. I don't care about BT anymore. It can die. It's obviously an imprudent risk. The council should sell it to the highest bidder ASAP and minimize the loss we're going to eat. On a personal note, I cut my own BT service down to just basic internet and basic TV. That should allow me to catch up on my debt to them.
The telecom business is not easy. I still find it hard to believe that Southern Bell ended up eating AT&T. I mean really.
*I eat Tritium for breakfast- I saw Arnie Gunderson on TV and then I realized I had a picture of him on my phone...
2:14pm: Now I'm just procrastinating. Cleaning starts...Now!
2:36pm: Cleaning is daunting. Let's talk about Avatar. My wife forced me to see it for my birthday. First of all the 3D was just like any 3D I've ever seen. Not that special. Secondly- the story was stupid. Why couldn't they get that done in 90 minutes? The thing gave me a headache. Utterly forgettable.
Back to cleaning...
3:40pm: Despair sets in. No more blogging. Just have to do what I can with the time I have left and go get the kids. Sunny Saturday almost over.
I saw on facebook that you didn't like Avatar. My mom loved it so much she saw it twice. Bob and I were thinking about seeing it, but we haven't had a sitter.
That's too bad about BT. If only someone could have predicted that it was a bad idea for the city to get into telecom...
Congratulations on having some time alone. I would almost kill for that.
"Two independent telecom consultants have concluded that Burlington Telecom is not financially viable given its number of subscribers and a debt of about $50 million"
and
"Stratum representatives, speaking with the committee by phone, said finding investors for BT would be a hard sell unless the city explicitly stands behind any new debt"
Would be interesting to hear how the current administration responded/defended their position...
