Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Another Year of BurlingtonPol
Thursday, January 07, 2010
I just renewed my web host for another year. Each year my payment is due by Jan 13, which also happens to be the date my mother died two years ago. This is the start of BurlingtonPol.com's 5th year.
Sorry to all for my lack of blogging lately- Wards 4/7 NPA, Owen- anyone else who has written to me lately looking for me to post this or that- I'll be back at it soon.
Thanks for your patience and thanks for reading BurlingtonPol.com. Visit often!
Get back on that Burlington Telecom chestnut, I'm concerned that people will come to accept the mission creep of having the taxpayers of Burlington being the ultimate guarantor of the new loans. The basic fact is that the Burlington taxpayer never would have authorized BT had they known what it's become. Did you see Shay Totten casually describe how it's okay for BT to be subsidized? Sure if the federal funds are there but Burlington can't print the money to cover it in the meantime.
Mickey (the current police chief's name back when he was growing up) - you are absolutely right. Using some numbers from a previous thread means that Bobby Kiss wants to effectively borrow approximately $3000 per Burlington household to play wannabe venture capitalist. All you BT subscribers (and non-subscribers!) ok with that?
The $3000 comes from $60,000,000 of debt less $12,000,000 of value divided by 15,885 households.
The money, as you point out, is coming from the taxpayer in Burlington, not across the country via Uncle Sam.
