Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!

Radiator Departure
Thursday, April 09, 2009
I just ended my radio show on The Radiator. It's a little sad, because doing the show really helped me through a low point in my life when I was unemployed and my mother was dying- but it's time to move on. Change is a part of life and, coincidentally in this case, a rite of spring.
Here's the email I just sent out to the Radiator Yahoo Group... *****
Dear Radiator Friends,
It's been a great experience, but I have to suspend my show indefinitely. My wife has picked up work on Saturday mornings, which means I have to take care of our kids at that time from now on. I thought about moving the show to another slot, but after more than a year of doing the show on Saturday mornings, and with everything else going on in my life, it feels more right to just end it gracefully.
It has been a privilege to be a part The Radiator as one of the founding on-air hosts. I will continue to be listener and supporter out here in radio land and wish all the best to everyone involved- past present and future. Thanks for making this awesome little radio station a reality.
I remember when I ended She's Right. It was bitter-sweet. I loved doing the show, but after two-plus years, it was time to move on. We had only one car and Bob started software testing, which requires him to work late sometimes. It was just too stressful to try and make it work. I wasn't upset that I had to end it, but I do miss it sometimes.
Thanks Charity. Interesting that you should mention She's Right (the TV show), Since despite my radio departure, I will be doing "BurlingtonPol TV" live at 5:25 on Channel 17, the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The second installment will be April 21.
It's definitely hard to juggle work, family and local media, but transitioning from four one-hour radio shows per month to just one half-hour TV show per month is definitely a beneficial change for me at this time.
And if you feel yourself missing the channel 17 studio- just know you have an open invitation to join me on BurlingtonPol TV for any show, of course! You don't even have to ask. Just show up anytime you want, Charity.
There seems to be a lot of skullduggery going on by those "friends" that oppose such a park....might be worth looking into. By skullduggery I mean lying, spying, intimidation and general mean spiritedness.
I understand that some of the "Friends of Leddy Park" had planned to "volunteer" for the disk golf folks and, rather than pass out the brochures and flyers as expected, just to trash them all. I guess this went around in email among some of them.
