Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Dober Wins Ward Seven Run-Off
Tuesday, March 24, 2009
According to Briggs at the Burlington Free Press, Vince Dober has defeated Eli Lesser-Goldsmith in the Ward Seven run-off by a vote of 515-425. As a result, the Democrats will not have a majority on the new city council.
Being a Democrat, I think that's a good thing. No party should have outright control over the Council and I'm glad that there will be more voices in the debate rather then just one block running the show.
But, the Dems can still control the Council Presidency, I believe. Bet anything that Clarence Davis will be running as will Ed Adrian.
Solution to Council President problem. Herr Kurt takes over police and shows everyone who is boss by locking down B-town in a post apocalyptic like military city state. Zuckerman will become Minister of Collective Agriculture. Pearson can chair the Whining Committee, and you Haik, you will work closely with our Dear Leader Kurt to carefully control the media while "allowing" freedom of speech.
Thanks for the correction Michael. There actually is no author listed at the online story here.
Michael- Would it be possible for you to make the links to BFP stories permanent? I don't even bother to link to Free Press Stories now because they always disappear. I don't see how that can be good for you in the online environment.
Thank you from keeping Burlington free of the nonsense of the Democrat-dominated Legislature. At least the Progs and Republicans have enough sense to work together against the horrible decisions a Democratic majority would force on our city, legalizing pot smoking and homosexual marriage but saying no to building viable office space downtown. Fight the good fight Vince!!! Don't back down.
That's going to be one hell of a meeting. My money is on Bill Keough. He stood clear of the whole fight nearly 2 weeks ago so I would bet he would be the most logical choice.
Plus, he's a fairly moderate guy and could be a consensus candidate. I don't care for Clarence or for Ed. They both are too ambitious for me.

Going to be a great race to watch.
