As the UVM community heads to the polls this November, environmental issues are a top concern. Campus has a strong desire to see more renewable energy production, a clean lake champlain, sustainable food production and a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions.
"UVM is represented by two of the strongest pro-environmental leaders in the statehouse," said Todd Bailey, executive director at the Vermont League of Conservation Voters. Mr. Bailey will be joined by David Blittersdorf, a leader in Vermont's renewable energy industry, to recognize the leadership role played by Representatives David Zuckerman and Chris Pearson." |
