Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Thrax Case vs. The Smell Test
Wednesday, August 06, 2008
I just have to mention how exceptionally fishy the recent developments in the Anthrax case seem.
One of my wife's friends is preparing to move to Detroit for Grad school by paring down her belongings. She's been giving Poopsie a bunch of clothes she feels don't make sense to bring with.
That's what people do when they prepare to make a transition. They tie up lose ends and get rid of things that might weigh them down.
That's why I find it so sketchy that just six months before Bush leaves the White House, this guy Bruce Ivans, one of the world's top biological poison researchers supposedly kills himself with Tylenol and is then immediately said by the government to be solely responsible for the anthrax attacks of 2001.
How convenient.
Our friend Philip at VDB, returning home from Sweden today to find his third Daisy waiting for him, had the sleeper scoop of the century last September when Pat Leahy told him he thought there were people in the government who knew where the Anthrax came from...
"Leahy: [Slowly, with a little shake of the head] I don’t think it’s somebody insane. I’d accept everything else you said. But I don’t think it’s somebody insane. And I think there are people within our government — certainly from the source of it — who know where it came from. [Taps the table to let that settle in] And these people may not have had anything to do with it, but they certainly know where it came from."
So is the death of Ivans really a part of the Bush team's tying up of loose ends before they move on? Maybe we'll eventually find out Ivans knocked down tower seven somehow too.
Who knows? It just all seems wicked sketchy. We'll have to ask Philip if there were any bad smells wafting across the Oresund Strait on his trip.

it's Bruce Ivins, not Ivans.
