Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Obama vs. McCain IV: Obama vs. McCain
Wednesday, February 13, 2008
Looks like it's the beginning of the end for Hillary. Obama is now leading in delegates and the calender and map are not in her favor. Without superdelegates and/or delegates from Michigan and Florida, it's virtually impossible for her to win. Obama can't win outright either, but he'll be ahead of Clinton. It's pretty much over. The MD, VA, and DC primaries Tuesday were mortal wounds to the Clinton campaign. She could conceivably drop out March 5.
***** CNN visitors: Thanks for dropping by- Please check out the rest of my blog on Politics in Burlington, Vermont- home of Senator Bernie Sanders and DNC Chair Howard Dean!
I can't see how she will win against the Obama campaign machinary. Initially they tagged her as "The Establishment" "The Government Machinery" but truthfully - after witnessing it myself first hand - it appeared as tho she didn't show up at all. Its sad. Its weird - all the people that supported her husband, ie T. Kennedy - Prof. Charles Ogletree(Harvard) various other minority leaders..they've betrayed both she & Bill. They're all secret political advisers to Senator Obama now advising him how to beat her.
South Carolina was the beginning of the end. Now - on to Texas & Pennsylvania. His latino machinery, ie You Tube, Hip Hops stars, Internet saavy staff have already hit Texas. Its going to be lights out for Hillary.
doesnt matter if Obama wins, I like most will vote for McCain now. What matters now within the party is who or how to keep the Demo party together cause of this mess. Cause where it stands, it looks like i'm a repo now
all of you guys are crazy obama is only leading clinton by 32 delegates the race is still very much on and it will be a very close one until the national convention and dont forget about the super delagets who are currently in clintons favor. the addition to her campiegn will defenitly bring a new light and bring more outside information and view which in turn will make her more appealing to a larger demographic and can hopefully get the lead that she once had over obama. as far as the delagets are concerned from fl and mi its almost impossible because florida refuses to redo the elections in the form of cacuses the only other way will be spliting the votes 50/50 which is unlikelyu that both canadites will accept. mccain is the sure winner i dont know why either huckabee or ron pual are still in the race they were the ones that should of dropped out not rommney.
I'm a moderate Democrat and to be honest I'd be happy with either Obama or Clinton as President. However, I'd be more happy with Clinton as President. Despite media coverage implying otherwise, issue papers suggest Obama is notably further to the left. For example, both Clinton and Obama propose to repeal the Bush tax cuts. So be it, I can handle that. However, going even further, Obama proposes removing the social security withholdings tax. This is going to hurt alot of corporations and small business owners, and you better believe this will put downward pressure on salaries for all small business employees. For example, say John Doe runs a small business that employs 10 people. John earns $250K a year, pays 1 employee $150K a year, 3 employees earn $60K, and 6 employees earn $30K. For just himself, John used to pay $11,500 a year in social security taxes (6% SS employee and 6% company contribution = 12%). But under Obama's proposal, John will be paying $30,000 a year in social security taxes for just himself. John's company also has to pay an additional $6,500 for one employee earning beyond the previous cap. So, John, who is already operating at a low profit margin, is now paying $36,500 more annually, thanks to Obama's social security proposal alone. Will John reduce his salary to keep current employee salaries rising with the cost of inflation? Absolutely not. He will either a) reduce overhead by laying off one employee and asking less people to do more, b) rely more heavily on business lines of credit to cover the low spots and as a result increase service/product prices to cover the interest expense, c) reduce bonuses or benefits such as health care coverage which has itself grown astronomically during the past decade.
One thing that I heard on NPR was that up until the "Potomac Primary" Clinton had 55% of the primary vote and yet Obama was quite close to her in delegates because he was winning the lion's share of caucuses. Caucuses are dominated by incredibly dedicated members who lean towards the extreme of their particular party. As a Democrat, I'm extremely concerned that this selection process - the same process that picked the overly intellectual Kerry (*shudder*) - will select Obama. And a liberal Democrat running against a moderate Republican is dangerous. It's just dangerous.
I'll be honest. At this point, McCain is slightly more appealing to me than Obama. That's a scary thing to say, but it's true. Obama is proposing a huge level of tax increases, just huge. Where exactly is the money going to go? He doesn't want universal healthcare (sorry, universal isn't universal if its optional). Obama is superb at delivering inspirational speeches, but where is the meat? I've been told by his supporters to read his position paper. I read it. There's very little to go on. It speaks in yet more generalities.
I feel, personally, that with the Republican party self destructing, that now is the time for the Democratic party to grab the center. Instead, it appears to be rallying it's left. For me, who sits in the center of so many business and fiscal issues, I'm left feeling very frustrated. It's the "center" of the country that just might be getting the proverbial shaft again for another 8 years.
I have been a die hard Democratic all my life, therefor I hope that the super delegets are keeping taps on the polls. I for one will not vote for Obama if he is the parties nomaniee. I will change over to the dark side and give my vote to McCain. Come on people you want to give the White House and the nation to a man that was raised studing the Koran. His father is a Muslem, and his mother doesn't belive in God. For God's sake wakeup people!!!!!

Was there not talk of her pushing to get the FL (and may be MI) votes brought back in?
