Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Congress In Your Community
Saturday, February 16, 2008
I dropped by the hardware store after my show on The Radiator this morning and said hi to representative Peter Welch. He's a really nice guy. I asked if he was one of those "superdelegates" we keep hearing about and he said he was- and would likely vote in favor of Obama. I asked if he would still vote for Obama if Clinton won Vermont (purely hypothetical, of course) and he said he would have to consider what the voters did. It's probably a moot point, since Obama will win Vermont, no doubt.
I asked Welch if he knew Ron Paul. He said he had met him but that's about it. I asked how he felt about going back to the gold standard, and he didn't have much to say about it. I guess that's way off his radar. I asked if he had any thoughts on the Petrodollar and he said we need a better energy policy.
I mentioned that today is my dad's 99th birthday and he seemed pretty impressed by that. We chatted a little about cancer (his wife, my mom) and we took a picture together. Heckuva nice guy. I'm glad I voted for him.
Maybe it is way off of his radar because he's focused on what he can change. I am glad I voted for Welch too. Rainville would have been too pro-war for our anti-war state.
Yeah, actually I did. Gotta love the Shay. I was impressed by something Stewart Ledbetter said about Fletcher Allen and their desire to change their name. "It's a hospital" he said. And that's true. When I wrote my mom's obituary I specifically said she died at "Fletcher Allen Hospital" instead of "Fletcher Allen Health Care." Fletcher Allen Health Care is a company with offices all over the place. "Fletcher Allen Hospital" is a real place.
I noticed they had the "Vermont Tiger" guy on there too. I guess that means that I, as a mere blogger, could be a talking head someday too.
I gotta reasearch that "tiger guy" Have no Idea who he is. And yes, if he is indie as you imply, then you should be front of the list with your impressive cred.
About the hospital, I agree with you, but I also have seen enough hospital systems. Hawaii, for example was all Castle Medical center. Which I guess was a statewide thing. More Small state, but still linked as an entity.
We are becoming a bigger state. with bigger conglomerate interests. not a good thing in my opinion, but the price of progress.
