Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Breaking News: Jo LaMarche to Retire January 11
Thursday, December 13, 2007
Well I just got off the phone with Jo LaMarche over at city Hall. "I'm definitely leaving." said LaMarche, 50. "Twenty-two years is a long time. Twenty-two in this capacity and twenty-seven overall with the city of Burlington."
LaMarche's first job with the city was as a police dispatcher back in the spring of 1981, the same time Bernie Sanders first became mayor. She recalls the first time she saw Sanders he was riding around with some police. "Who is that?" she remembers asking herself.
In 1989 LaMarche became the assistant city clerk. In 1993 she was poised to ascend to become Burlington's first woman clerk, when the upset mayoral victory of Republican Peter Brownell put those plans on hold. The first woman Clerk would be Ruth Stokes, appointed by Brownell in 1993. When Peter Clavelle returned to the mayor's office in 1995 he brought with him a restructuring plan that would make Brendan Keleher, not Jo LaMarche hold the official title of "clerk-treasurer."
Jo LaMarche turned in her resignation Wednesday. She does have another job to go to but won't say where just yet. Her last day with the city will be January 11 ,2008. She will be missed.
The City Council had a very warm and thoughtful appreciation for Jo Lamarche last night at their meeting. All spoke of her incredible service to the city and the people of Burlington, her thoughtfulness, talent, fairness, professionalism, and incredible patience. She will be missed.
