Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Clinton vs. Romney III
Presidential Candidate Ron Paul, born August 20, 1935, turned 72 on Monday. He is an OB/GYN who has delivered thousands of babies. Happy birthday Dr. Paul!
He wants to bring the gold standard back to the dollar.
He pledged to never violate Habeas Corpus.
Paul is opposed to reintroduction of the military draft.
Paul was Co-Sponsor of H.R. 2592, the States' Rights to Medical Marijuana and answers "Yes" to the question "Should marijuana be a medical option?"
In June 2003, Paul voted against a Constitutional amendment to state that Congress shall have the power to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against the Iraq war.
These are all good positions in my book. Of course he's taken some other positions I don't like, but that's not the point of this post. The post is to talk about the positions I do like, which are enough to swing my vote to Ron Paul...in the primary. Then Hillary in the general when she takes on Romney. The election is going to be "Clinton vs. Romney." And I'd like to hold on to regain BurlingtonPol's #1 Google rating for the phrase "Clinton vs. Romney."
Also, Democrat Bill Richardson, the governor of New Mexico recently told Melissa Ethridge he thought homosexuality is a choice. How come nobody ever asks if being straight is a choice? Both questions are stupid. Huh. "Come to my window..." I just got that. It's not that subtle, actually. "Crawl inside. Wait by the light of the moon. Come to my window. I'll be home soon." Hot. And not as metaphorically over the top as driving into the fucking Grand Canyon like Thelma and Louise. Now that's really not subtle.
So, again- Happy Birthday Dr. Ron Paul, BurlingtonPol's Septuagenarian OB/GYN of the day! Thanks for digging the Constitution, and shit.

Haik -- Finally got off my cyberbutt and checked out your blog again. I shit you not, I can taste the Secret Sandwich right now. It occurs that it's been fifteen years next month since meeting you at Living & Learning. Glad that sucker isn't subject to term limits :-)
This, everybody, is what makes your country great -- there's a certain spirit in certain people that no corrupt politician or system can ever take away. It ain't about right vs. wrong, Republocrat vs. Demublican, any of that stuff, it's about giving a shit from the heart like no other country on Earth. Besides, is Bush REALLY any dumber, more homicidal or generally malfeasant than Reagan was? I say no.
Anyhoo, there are times I really miss Burlington, and this is one of them. ~ respect, Seb
Yep, I guess "Canadian" can still be considered international for the time being. You paying attention to this "Security and Prosperity Partnership" shit between Bush, Harper and Calderon? Can anyone say "Saudi Alberta"?

I say hello to Luis Guzmán and everybody wants to add their two cents, but if I bring up pro-life Republicans and vagina metaphors, it's crickets.
I see how it is.
