Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Green Mulligan to serve on Housing Board
Monday, June 18, 2007
Story from Blazing Indescretions. Owen Milligan was appointed to the Burlington Housing Board of Review. First Burlingon Green on the board. Second on any.
A friend who knows Owen thinks he will be good for the housing board, if he sticks to it. He admires his passion for issues, but says one thing about him is that he's consistently inconsistent. In the last year he wanted to form a populist party with Loyal Ploof; next, he wanted to run for office as an independent - at one point, he even wanted to apply for that board appointment as an independent; then, I heard he wanted to help grow/organize in Burlington Cris Ericson's Mojo party. He's got to decide: to be honest with himself and those friends and Greens who have stuck by him, supported him. In politics, you lose loads of credibility if you keep changing your mind.
Owen is amazing leader and will serve Burlington well. The Green Party is now a respectable party in Burlington with 3 people serving public office. Check Burlingtongreenparty.com for more details.
Is Owen a Green? Well, I'll address this as a member of the Green Committee in Burlington. Owen has reorganized the Greens after a destabilized period following the seizure of the State Party by Craig Hill of Montpelier. This coup de partie (so to speak!) resulted in the collapse of the Greens and Owen has worked tirelessly to rebuild them. If he can not be called a Green, then one does not exist in Vt...The Party had previously suffered under the "leadership" of Ashley Smith (a Marxist writer) and his associates, so now what the Greens need, probably, is space to redefine themselves apart from communist, or Hillist, influence, and seek their own way. We should give them another shot at electoral legitimacy. Come on, Haik, I know you agree.? -Patrick Stanton
