Why would anyone know how long they took to do a Tarrant post? Maybe you could search the archives if they hadn’t switched URLs, but who would? That doesn’t prove anything anyway. Tarrant’s a clever boy. He can plan a year ahead. This seems eerily coordinated. Like the kind of thing…oh… I don’t know…a shady PR firm might do in desperation while watching two years of careful planning and investment go down the toilet, or something...

But instead of spinning off the road in a wild wreck of blogomania, how about this for a more obvious answer: Tarrant's folks wanted to make their dork of a candidate seem hip about the blog world so as to attract all 273 of us as potential voters. Thus, they thought and they thought about which blogs to list. It doesn't take a blogger brain surgeon to realize that of all the boring blogs out there, PoliticsVT is the top of that heap.
