Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Anybody ever see that documentary where they revisit the same group of people every seven years? I think it's English. I saw it a long long time ago at the Savoy in Montpelier.
Time is spinning out of control. I created this blog at the beginning of this year's city election cycle (January,) and it peaked when Bob Kiss was elected (March.) That election gave me a focus and a desire. It was a very significant election- what with the open seat, the three year term, and the IRV, and all. Acting as an interested citizen-journalist was work. I stayed up very late several times and sacrificed time with my family because I was slavishly addicted to the idea that I, Haik Bedrosian, was helping to shape the outcome of the election. As I worked out my own feelings about the candidates, I helped BP readers do the same and together we made the right choice for mayor. I feel Kiss might be the best mayor the city has ever had.
Terry Bouricius counted the votes in what was called the 'most transparent election ever' or some such thing. I tried to understand how the votes were counted from computer tapes but I could easily be tricked. I just have faith that there are some smart people out there who can really understand what the hell Bouricius is talking about. I don't mean how IRV works. I get that. I mean how the votes were counted. Hmmm...paper...
I just thought of something. I'll tell you later.
Anyway- citizen-journalism takes too much work nowadays. Too busy. Too tired, and like I said, time is spinning out of control. Lately I'm just doing this sort of cheap-art, interpretive-dance image stuff with a little spin. I know it's crap, but it's pretty much what's up for now. And still Philip keeps my link up. I was thinking about how he's been so encouraging to me, and then it hit me- he's a teacher and he sees potential in me. It's really nice.
Charity is exactly right to say my strength is covering the March elections in Burlington. I hope I don't blow it and forget the date I'm supposed to be on She's Right six months from now. Sorry I missed the channel 17 blogger show. Damn.
Oh- I forgot- Open Mike! Talk about anything you want. My disclaimer applies. I can always make embarassing comments under your name without permission from you, for example.
I followed your transformation during the mayoral election and maybe it's a little Baruthy of me but I like to think I swayed a few people... but whatever. I think you're right about Kiss. When he was thinking about running he said the city's finances were in rough shape. When he was running he said the same thing. The night he won he said the first order of business was the budget. Then they tackled the budget. Now in the Freep's "Kiss 100" article people are finding fault that he's so low profile. Hello? Budget, remember?
I think your blog should be the truth squad about the mayor, correct the crap that people get wrong and give people the other 99 per cent of what Briggs and his rag don't print about Kiss. But don't neglect KoKo to do it.
Hey, I forgot the blogger show on channel 17, too! Woops!
Don't worry, I'll send you lots of reminders beforehand and I'll even have Bob come up to you at work and remind you on the day of. (If he still works there by then.)
If you don't show up, I'll just bad mouth you for the half-hour!
