Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Let's All Go to the Movies!
Sunday, July 30, 2006
I saw An Inconvenient Truth with my mom yesterday. It's great. The science is real. Global warming is a threat on par with nuclear war. There was a trailer for Who Killed The Electric Car before the movie. Gore is a genius and a great soul. He might have been a better president than Clinton, even. He might still be. Beside a recognition of the danger of global warming, the other thought this movie evoked in me, was that it was just such a tragedy for the whole human race that this man did not win the White House.
Speaking of movies...
These are my top five favorite movies, in order. Wall Street is my number one.
Gore also proposed universal free preschool in his acceptance speech at the 2000 Democratic convention. Are you seriously going to talk smack about Al Gore? Personally, I'm ambivalent about NAFTA, and it's certainly small potatoes compared to global warming, or meltdown in the Middle East. Perot, by the way, is one of the biggest welfs who ever lived, having received more than three billion dollars from Social Security. There's probably a picture of him with Rich Tarrant somewhere....
Still on the other hand, I have to wonder if the Neocons had all their bases covered from the start. If it hadn't looked like W could get away with stealing it, they could have just off'ed Gore, done 9/11 and had Lieberman do their bidding. Of course it would have been a little harder for Lieberman to bring along the NASCAR, Toby Keith types, than it was for Bush- but ultimately they don't care what anyone thinks anyway.
Ask Bernie about Nafta. We don't need Gore to fuck things up again. You think he's grown a soul since 2000? No, he'll listen to Carville and Begala and all the other twits who've screwed this country and drool his way into being a two time loser. Nice work on the environment though. Keep it up, Al.
I don't care. Say "fuck" all you want. Me loves me some First Amendment.
I know Bernie hates NAFTA. He's probably right. I'd still vote for Gore in a heartbeat. Just imagine how much better things would be under Gore now... peace in the middle east, electric cars, a better economy, the WTC would still be there- fuckin' fuggettaboutit.
Well, it was a few years ago and I was living on Loomis Street, I can't remember which of the infamous "Sirens" loaned it too me, but I watched it three times right in a row over the course of a weekend. I pretty much cried the whole weekend, and couldn't even keep my shit together long enough to go out in public. Think of it- the children's mother dies, Maria gets kicked out by the nuns, the seven children...
OK- I'm not gonna think about The Sound Of Music! I'm not gonna think about The Sound Of Music!

Gore talked us into Nafta, remember. Ross Perot was right...and the sucking sound continues.
