Take two thick slices of Noonie's day old bread, smear Honey Cup honey mustard
liberally over both. Cover both slices with green leaf lettuce. Then on one slice only lay smoked turkey on the lettuce,
a tomato slice on the turkey and sprinkle it with shredded carrot. Then on the lay a slice of provolone cheese over the
carrot then a green pepper ring on top of the cheese. Sprikle with sprouts. Cover with the other slice, lettuce side down.
The letuce should be stuck to the bread with honey mustard so it doesn't fall off when you turn it upside down to cover the
sandwich. Slice sandwich in half with a knife. Wrap in tightly in plastic wrap. Use too much wrap. Tape on label. Tadaaa!
Weighs one pound. Costs Four Bucks.

Dems field questions on Channel 17
Wednesday, March 15, 2006
Andy Montroll, Joan Shannon and TJ Donovan are live on Channel 17 right now. There have been some interesting questions from callers including ‘in the event of a major black out could we run the city on the McNeil wood-chip generator.’ Nobody knew but they seemed to doubt it. Montroll revealed that besides McNeil, the city has another, lessor known generator down by the Moran Plant made of jet engines. Now that’s some Batman Sh*t.
Another caller asked about the impending 23% Electric rate increase. Shannon did a good job of explaining that because of rising energy costs, postponing the increase would just put us in debt that amount plus interest. Andy assured the caller that the council and several other oversight entities had thoroughly scrutinized the increase and its necessity. Shannon is an excellent speaker. Montroll knows a lot. When did TJ Donovan get into politics? I must be getting old.
At least people want to talk with each other; that's good. Sure beats sulking in the background. Besides, pent up rage/frustration is counter-productinve.
That said, isn't there a Donovan representing Burlington in the Legislature? There was a Donovan on the Board of Tax Appeals - a 'volunteer' position? And who is the 'they' who's 'bringing him on'? 'Dems'/'Progs'? or has he been filtered through the McNeil screening system?
Thanks for being a rallying point (or for service above and beyond the call of duty) ;-))

I know. It's hard for a control freak like me to let go like that, but it takes too much time to moderate all the comments.
Also people are talking to each other on here and I'm getting in the way of converstions with comment moderation.
I can still delete comments for any or no reason though :)
